Harry Coumnas, A Futurist, Believes That The End Of The World Is Sure

Harry Coumnas believes that mankind is surely in danger of being eliminated from this universe. He has researched a lot and finally come to this that there are some catastrophic factors that could doom humanity. These factors include human-triggered cataclysms, natural disasters, and greater forces which can be directed against us. For more than 500,000 years, the humans have roamed the land, made complex languages, built cities, and also sent robots to far distant planets. Harry Coumnas, who is a widely popular Futurist, conducted a research in which he found that nearly 99 percent of all species who established their habitat on this planet have gone extinct, that also include all of our hominid ancestors. Following are the reasons, which he believes that could be responsible for the fall of the world.

Natural Disaster - Asteroid impact is the top reason why it should be taken seriously. There is a great chance that a cosmic interloper will hit Earth, and according to Harry's research, we won't have to wait millions of years for it to be a reality. History is full with such kind of events, and one of them occurs in 1908, when a 200-foot-wide comet fragment pierced through the earth's atmosphere and exploded over the Tunguska region in Siberia and Russia. Astronomers believe that similar-sized events occur every one to three centuries.

Gamma-ray Burst - Another reason which Harry Coumnas thinks could be possible, is a Gamma-ray burst. Once a day or so, one would see a bright flash appear in the sky for a short time, which outshine everything else, then goes away. According to him, these gamma-ray bursts originate in far distant galaxies and are 10 quadrillion (a one followed by 16 zeros) times more powerful than the sun. Once the burst starts, it is for sure that, there would be no escaping from its fury. The atmosphere of earth will surely offer the initial protection from most of the burst's deadly X rays and gamma rays, but at a cost.

Harry Coumnas Believes That A Zombie Apocalypse Is Inevitable

Unlike others, Harry Coumnas is a person that thinks out of the box, and he believes that the growing believe and frequency with which zombies appear in TV shows, and movies, it is sure and truly inevitable that the zombie apocalypse will soon be upon the world and no no one will be able to survive this, until and unless they are prepared. When it comes to surviving this inevitable showdown with the zombies, he believes that location is the key, as he would not want to be in a heavy populated state with zealous zombies capable of eating and destroying everything in their way.

Harry Coumnas has prepared a list of people, who might be able to survive and tackle those blood sucking and flesh eating zombies, using their skills. First on the list is the state with the most military personnel, and it is obvious that states that has more soldiers per capita means states with more people who are fit to fight, fully skilled and trained, also have access to weapons and military machinery. He believes that they will survive the longest.

Second on the list are people who are physically active. States that have more physically active and fit residents. On the other hand people who rarely get out of their chairs will not escape the zombie war. Third ones are those who know fighting styles like mix martial Arts. Harry Coumnas believes that hand-to-hand fighting style would prove to be an important skill when the ammo runs out.

Fourth on his list are those people who watched too much survival shows on TV. In the long run, knowing the art of survival without any help of modern conveniences, and that too in a society filled with zombies will be critical, but not impossible. Last on the list are those who have knowledge about zombies. Harry Coumnas thinks that this is simple to explain, as to know a enemy, one must know his ways.
