Harry Coumnas Believes That Poverty Can Be Eradicated With Education

Poverty is the biggest evil in a society and poor people face many problems. They do not have food to eat and feed their children, therefore their children suffer from malnutrition and various other diseases. They even lack access to education. Children are vulnerable and suffer various problems such as child labor, lack of basic amenities, etc. Harry Coumnas lives in South Africa and has closely seen the plight of rural children who are under nourished, poor and uneducated. They do not have resources to have proper food, medical, and education facilities. He feels really bad for the children who are orphan and poor. Being a humanitarian, he understands the benefits of educating these children especially girls. He believes that educating girls can greatly help break the cycle of poverty. They will be able to work in the future, earn higher incomes, and plan their families thoughtfully. Moreover, they would be further able to educate their children.

Harry Coumnas is committed to improving girls' education in South Africa. He is associated with a reputed non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships and stipends to girls. He, along with other volunteers, helps in raising funds for this purpose. The organization runs various programs that promote child education. He not only motivates others to donate generously for these programs, but also offers full financial support. He actively participates in the awareness camps organized by the organization and helps in making these camps successful. He visits the poor families in villages and explains them the importance of educating the girl children.

Harry Coumnas is also associated with many organizations that strive to eradicate AIDS from South Africa. He volunteers his services to make people aware about HIV and AIDS. He participates in many comprehensive programs launched by these organizations to make people aware about causes, prevention, and treatment of the disease. Under their prevention strategies, the organization sends their volunteers to counsel and educate the people about HIV infection. If prevention is not the option, then the volunteers ensure that children and youngsters with HIV infection should receive health care, right diet, and educational training. Besides volunteering for social causes, Harry likes to read biographies and visit new places.
